Anything else?

Having visited in early June 2013 and being told that I would have an MRI scan within about 6 weeks, I found it totally unacceptable that over 7 weeks later my case had not even been referred to the MRI department for the scan. It has now been referred but I have to wait 6 weeks as that is the average wait for the scan. Very depressed about the whole situation and cannot understand how it has taken 9 phone calls to get it sorted out. I dread to think how long it will take to get the results.

Good afternoon and thank you for your posting. I am very concerned to note your comments regarding the delay in referral for an MRI scan and would urge you to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison team (PALS) if you have not already done so at

plh-tr.PALS@nhs.net Alternatively, if I can be of any help, please do not hesitate to ring me on 01752 439751.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards

Mary
