What I liked

I took my daughter to the out of hours GP service in A and E during a prolonged bout of vomitting (over 3days). We saw the nurse practitioner. They were very thorough, reassuring and competent. She was treated and dispensed further medication. This alone was a good service (on a Sunday) but what impressed us even more was the follow up telephone call later in the week to check how she was. I think this is a remarkable service and a real treasure to have as our local service. If you can pass on our thanks and praise, I would be grateful.

What could be improved

The waiting area is dismal and old/worn out looking - luckiliy the staff make up for this!!
