"The parking facilities for disabled ..."

What could be improved

The parking facilities for disabled people or terrible. As a hospital I would have thought that the need for a wheelchair user would have been taken into consideration. As far as I could see there is no provision for a disabled parking space with room at the side of the car for the wheelchair.

Also as someone who is not familiar with the town let alone the hospital, is there a charge for parking if there is not a disabled bay available, but a blue badge is shown?

I also had to hold traffic up whilst I got my disabled husband out of the car and then park.

I did notice that some cars with a blue badge were parked on double yellow lines. Would they be charged or given tickets?
