About: Leighton Hospital

Anything else?

My partners grandad(82 yo) was taken to hospital with chest pains. Taken into A&E at 2:30, did not get seen to until half 4, which is pretty standard. Seen as though he has history of heart attacks, fought lung cancer and now has parkinsons, leighton hospital did not rush to get ECG and blood tests done. At 23.30, 9 hours waiting for a bed he still had not been given 1. Only positive I have for the hospital is 2 nurses on Ward 10 actually explained that he was Nil By Mouth which means he had no food as will not get any until a tube is fitted. I am so glad my partner will be seen at Warrington Hospital whenever needed. Disgraceful the way OAPs are treated !!!! This is not the first time we have had problems with Leighton Hospital !!
