My eighty year old mother recently had emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder which meant a 3 day stay in A & E followed by nearly 2 weeks on Astor ward. I cannot praise highly enough the level of care she received from the doctors, nurses & assistants. She was treated with professionalism, kindness & respect at all times. I was kept updated with her progress all through her stay. Thanks to their fantastic help my mother has made a very good recovery. People are quick to criticise the NHS but I must say in my mother’s case I was extremely happy, well done Kingston Hospital
