What I liked
I was recently admitted in April 08 for bypass surgery at the Glenfield Hospital. The staff were absolutely terrific. They were friendly, hard working, dedicated and fun to be under the care of, despite them being pushed all the way by this crooked government that starves them of cash. The hospital, as always, was spotless and the cleaner on my ward ( Ward 31) must have polished my window and area at least three times a day!
The nurses in CICU were like Angels on my shoulders. Always there and they must be the best trained in the world at what they do once you come out of that theatre. The nurses on Wards 31 and 32 are a credit to our NHS and I just hope our dear Government realises what great staff exist at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester. They have the best consultants, surgeons and team for heart conditions in Europe.
What could be improved
I can't think of anything apart from whoever stole the remote control from the day room on Ward 31 needs his rear kicking.
