"Silence..."

About: Royal Liverpool University Dental Hospital

Anything else?

I was having my first extraction of a tooth on the left hand side of my mouth, being absaloutely terrified of the dentist it was hard to make me feel comfterable...however on arrival all seemed fine and dandy! I was put at ease by the staff on the counter, the place seemed clean and the waiting times were nothing to moan about. However... Halfway through my extraction the student stepped back as if paniced and the whole room went silent for 5 minutes whilst a consultant was fetched...meanwhile nobody told me what was going on, nobody said "We're just fetching someone to finish up"...just silence...I felt like I was in a silent movie..
