I recently went for x-rays at the X-ray department following my outpatients appointment. Although there was a long queue at reception due to a new IT system, staff came along and advised me to attend later on, which was more convenient for me. When I went back i was seen almost straightaway. Staff were professional and the changing facilities were fine. I understood what would happen following my x-rays as staff explained this to me.

I am delighted to hear that you had a positive experience and that you are happy with the care you received. You mentioned the introduction of the new IT system which we recently installed and I understand that initially there were some teething problems as invariably happens with any change. It is good to know that staff informed you of what was happening and gave you a choice of being seen later which ultimately was more suitable for you.
