Nobody wants to end up in hospital whilst on holiday but t I did. I usually use these forums to complain about bad service but not in this case After being admitted to A&E I was treated with the up most respect and care. I was then kept in overnight on Holly Ward. Now I have had spells in some of Yorkshires biggest private hospitals but take it from me the care and attention I received at Scarborough was definitely equal and in many respects better. The ward was clean the staff helpfully friend and had time for you. The food was excellent. The doctors polite and though full. The NHS comes in for a lot of bad press well make no mistake it works in Scarborough.
