Please convey my thanks to all concerned at Sunderland Ward Outpatients and in particular the Pain Management Team on Thursday,1st August 2013. I was treated very courteously throughout by all concerned. The one concern that I have is the condition of many of the chairs in the Sunderland Waiting Area. Some patients needed physical assistance in getting up once they had been seated. This aspect needs addressing with some urgency.

Thank you for your recent positive feedback regarding the staff on Sunderland and the Pain Management Team.

Your comments have been passed to the Head of Nursing and service manager for your recognition of the work that they undertake.

The issue relating to the condition of the chairs has also been escalated for review and consideration, thankyou for bringing this to our attention.
