I went to see the surgeons regarding pains I was having. The surgeon told me that I need a operation and that they will put me on the waiting list. Once on the waiting list I called to see when my date would be, as I was going to see family abroad, a lovely lady told me that as soon as she gets a date for surgery she would call me. Three days later the lady called back as promised and advised me that my date would be within a few weeks which enabled me to see my family. A few days before my procedure my bloods came back abnormal and when I called the booking team the young lady said that she would see the consultant and get things sorted for me. It was confirmed that the procedure could not go ahead but the young lady promised to sort things regarding the surgery and that as soon as my bloods were back to normal she would get me a date. True to her word my bloods came back normal and two days later I was having my surgery, all the staff on the day were wonderful and very professional and could not fault anything.Once my surgery was over me and my wife both went back to the hospital with flowers for the lady in the booking office to thank her for her hard work and for enabling us to go and see family and for ensuring that my operation went smoothly.
