"I liked the services on offer ..."

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

(as the patient),

What I liked

I liked the services on offer to the patients, for instance the entertainment. I did not take too kindly to the prices though.

What could be improved

The telephone calls are unreasonably priced, both on the receiving end and on the calling end.

Making a phone call costs 10p a minute, minimum call charge 10p. Calls to the bedside cost 39p per minute off-peak and 49p at all other times. Off peak is 6pm - 8am Mon to Fri and all weekends, peak rates apply at other times. Please note call charges to or from international destinations, mobiles and other networks may vary.

Radio is free – 24 hours a day.

Before going into hospital you can buy Patientline services for yourself, friend or family member. When in hospital you can top up bedside credit to spend on TV and phone services by paying at the machines located in the hospitals.
