"Do not resuscitate"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

On arrival we wait in a corridor moving down gradually form from one part to another to be placed into another corridor. this in all took around three and half hours. How shocked my dad was on returning home to find in his bag with his tablets and dicharge papers was a Paper with Bright Red writing saying do not resasitate. Dad may be 84 years old, but he has always been healthy, has his own teath and until that stay in hospital was on no medication. Dad , mum or myslef where not cosulted about this dession and aparently two doctors made the dession that my dad was not worth saving. Why??? Surley this is not there dession and we should have been consulted or is this another money saving dession from the people at the top who have lost the conection of what a hospital is all about. It has taken me this long to write this as I was so angry. What gives them the right to play God with my dad's life??? On visiting dad on the ward the following day to find he was moved to Castle hill hospital and on asking the staff on the ward they where that tired and stressed they could not tell me where he was it took 5 of them to discuss his where abouts before they finaly could tell me he had moved to castle Hill. What the hell is going on, this is not what you expect this day and age.
