"first visit to Gravesham MIU"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

Anything else?

I had to make two visits, the second was for an X-ray as there was not enough time on my first visit. This was explained to me with a valid reason. This was acceptable in my opinion as I did not present my self at reception until quite late in the day. The reason that I have given only three stars for cleanliness was, that overall my impression was fairly favourable but for one thing. Whilst I was in the Waiting Room awaiting my turn to be seen I noticed a screwed up soft drink can had been left on the floor behind the right entrance door beneath the notice boards. If a small child had got bord and started moving about and could have picked it up and as it was screwed up the child could have cut itself or leave it in a place where another patient could have tripped over it. Overall I found the staff very proffesional yet approachable. I had no problems with discussing my case. On my second visit I had already spoken the the receptionist. She waited until I arrived to ensure I was taken straight through to the X-ray Department. I would like to thank the staff who looked after for their help and patience with someone who is quite an infrequent visitor to a hospital as a patient
