We opted for Cheltenham after hearing not great things about the gloucester maternity unit. But after some problems we ended up being taken to gloucester hospital. My experience was far from the bad things I had heard. The staff were brilliant in the delivery suite and on the ward I couldn't fault them. We had to stay for a week and the staff on the ward were brilliant. Being a first time the staff were very helpful even during those emotional moments and nothing was any trouble and they didnt make me feel stupid when I was asking basic questions about caring for a baby. If do have any more babies in the future I will go to gloucester.
