I'm so sorry to hear about what happened as this is not the kind of service experience we would want you to have. Although in general we would expect that your first port of call would be your GP, it's clear from your message that the pain your daughter was in meant you felt A&E was your only option. We do want to resolve this for you if we can do anything further, so please do call the Patient Experience Team to speak to us as we would be very keen to find out why things have not gone as well as they should have. Our number is 01279 82 70 84 and you can call anytime between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. We hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Lanaki

I am sorry you haver had this experience as this is not the quality of care we would expect to provide. I would urge you to make contact with me or a member of the Patient Experience Team as soon as possible on 01279827084 and we will respond immediately. We need to understand your story and how this could have happened,

I will ensure we involve the Paediatrician in the conversation and if it is necessary and you would find it difficult to come to us, we would be happy to come to you at home to discuss what we should be doing differently.

As I mentioned, the Patient Experience Team is on 01279 827084 and can be emailed at pals@pah.nhs.uk.
