My experience of the over all health care in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic myeloid leukaemia has been excellent. From initial diagnosis resulting from unusual blood results, through the Acute Assessment Unit, onto the ward and the immediate and ongoing treatment of my condition, the care and professionalism I have received has been excellent. The staff in the Haematology department are unfailingly helpful, kind and professional. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
