I have just arrived home following a radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer. I cannot quite believe how well I feel and would like to pass on a big thank you to everyone involved in my care and treatment. I have only ever experienced private medicine and was initally very worried about being in an NHS hospital (thanks to the press!) but I don't believe that I could have been treated any better anywhere else.
