I spent 2 hours in A & E on Saturday night with my son whom had taken a fall from his bike whilst competing in a Triathlon. We arrived at 8.00 pm and were seen by a Receptionist who was very pleasant. Over the next 2 hours my son was seen in Triage, had an X-ray, was seen by a Doctor, who prescribed treatment and medication. Had his wounds dressed by a charming nurse, who was called away in the middle to deal with an acute emergency before returning and apologising for having been called away. The whole experience was as good as it could have been and all credit to the staff on duty. With my thanks Nicole
