"treatment at and after an operation"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

Anything else?

I was pleased with the treatment I received on the surgical ward at North Manchester General. The only thing wrong was people were allowed to bring in food and drink in to the waiting area where people were waiting to be treated for an operation. Surley it would be wise and better to inform people not to bring in food or drink in any way. I received good after care treatment apart from when I needed to get dressed as my clothes had not been brought to the ward after 5 hours which is bad as they should have been there when I can round. I am still receiving after care from the district nurses which is bad one or two that have been to see me do not care if they hurt you while changing the dressings where others are fine. And they also come when ever they want not at a certain time which means family or friends can not come and see you in the day time. Would not recommend district nurses to treat you, most of them are uncaring , get up set when you up set there feathered routine and are not willing to come and see you earlier than they want.
