Male carers to do personal care for female who doesn't like it and would not have agreed to it if asked. Call button.. not only out of reach as I have found on every visit to hospital....but actually pulled out from wall with bare wires... complaining loudly actually achieved results and a nice guy can to fix it right away.... Mother returned to nursing home with two cuts to legs and bruising on arm... her dementia means she cannot tell me what happened and no nurses actually said anything to me about these injuries and how they were acquired. Total lack of anything to occupy patients minds Gross overheating as left under window in the hot weather with no blinds or cooling available. No care taken over providing regular medications as no request made to me about what she normally takes Confusion about sending her home... where home was as Mum confused and so it took a while to establish where she had to go despite me having told nurse clearly the day before. No attempt to keep me informed about her care.
