Anything else?
My 84 year old brother was admitted to the Royal London Hospital at 4.00am on Sunday morning. Later in the day I rang the admissions number to find out which ward he had been admitted and what was the nature of his ilness. Having hung on for more than 10 minutes waiting for someone to answer in "admissions" an automated voice asked for a name - in this case Lederman- it then came up with a totally different name which it asked to confirm or cancel. I cancelled and repeated the name but the same thing happened. This sequence continued until I finally gave up. I rang the operator again and was told that this was the only way I could make contact with admissions which was totally useless. I am now left with no information on my brother and do not know how to get through to whatever ward he is in. This system is absolute rubbish
"Impossible to get information on admissions"
