"A credit to the NHS."

About: Heartlands Hospital

Anything else?

One of my sisters, aged 84 and very seriously ill, spent her last 18 days in Heartlands Hospital in April 2013. Prior to her admission I was greatly concerned about the quality of care she might receive because another relative many years ago had undergone a minor operation there which in my opinion was grossly negligent. However, my sister's family and her many friends cannot speak too highly of the care she received: the consultants, the bereavement team and in particular the staff of Ward 5 were a credit to the NHS.
