Anything else?
On a scale of 1 -10 with 10 most severe, having been kept on the phone for 40 minutes by NHS 111 as a young man with poor diction ran through his script most of which bore no relation to the severe chest pain I was experiencing, I was then told the nurse would sign me back. In agony and desperation I dialled 999. The response was amazing, the paramedic and the ambulance crew fantastic, the staff in A&E and CD1 so reassuring, on a scale of 1 -10 where 1 is poor to the point of begin dangerous and 10 is outstanding, I give NHS 111 a big fat 0 and king's 10. I have also advised those I know not to bother with NHS 111 = an appalling waste of public money.
