My wife was admitted for an operation earlier this year. The ward was spotlessly clean and all the staff friendly and helpful. The operation my wife was to have was explained fully to her and she was given an excellent leaflet with more information about her condition. Following her operation she was given more information about how it had gone and reassurance that nothing out of the ordinary had been found. The surgeon even came in on his day off at the weekend to see her personally. Staff were helpful in answering my questions and keeping me in touch with her progress. She is now fully recovered and the problem she was experiencing before the operation is satisfactorily resolved. We felt her care thoughout was first class. Although busy the ward seemed to be well run.
