"Torn big toe nail"

About: Victoria Hospital

Anything else?

I tore my big toe nail on the mudguard on my bike. When I saw all the blood I went to the neatest chemist in Walmer for a bandage. They advised me to go to the minor I juries unit. I was seen I about two minutes by a very friendly nurse, and ona couple more minutes by the duty nurse who dealt with me very gen,y and efficiently. The accident was my own fault, but no one said so! I remember coming here as a reporter in the aftermath of the Marines' bombing and seeing the survivors. This place is why the NHS is still one of the high points of our civilisation.
