"TRAQS staff were polite and helpful"

About: NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

The reason I have only given the "3" rate of okay for GP referral is because the nurse at our practice carried out a hearing test for me in late June. However, it took 3 phone calls to the surgery before TRAQS was told of my need for an appointment referral approximately 3 weeks later.

The TRAQS ladies I spoke to advised me to contact the GPs surgery to find out the cause of the delay as they had not received my details (they were polite and helpful).

Once they received my details I was contacted immediately by their member of staff in a letter of confirmation followed quickly covering all the information.

I am sure you will appreciate we are unable to comment on the service provided by your GP Practice which resulted in the delay in forwarding your referral to TRAQS. However, I am pleased to note that once received by TRAQS you were contacted immediately and the appointment process explained in detail.
