About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

Initially, the wait for an appointment with the GP took 4 weeks from the time I had my ultrasound scan.

I feel this is quite a wait for results, especially for someone who worries! But I did get my results and reassurance.

My condition was explained and a referral sent off the same day. When TRAQS rang I was given a choice of hospitals, but opted for the Princess Royal Hospital as it is closer.

I am prepared to wait until September as nothing is seriously wrong (I hope).

I am sorry to note your disappointment with the delay experienced in receiving the results of your ultra sound scan. It is not clear from your comments whether there was any further delay before TRAQS contacted you to arrange for your ongoing consultation. I hope that we did contact you within our agreed timescale and our service was explained to you in full in order for you to make an informed choice.
