"rainbow ward"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Anything else?

i would not recomened rainbow ward to any parents who like us had our 4 week old baby taken in for monitoring with acid reflux and digestive problems.the staff are not very interested in staying with baby, and checking to see if all is ok health wise, and as for the monitoring.what a joke.my fiancee was slung into a room off of the ward and was left to do everything herself! through the night she was left feeling very low and stressed also she was recovering from a major cesearian,at what has been a difficult time for us.we complain all the time, but are made out to be nuisance parents.no compassion! no care! very poor all round.as our daughter is still ill.we still have to use rainbow ward.my fiancee hates it so much she now gets all uptight knowing we have to come to rainbow ward.we will be emailing a full letter of complaint.very unhappy.mr d perry and miss n parker

Thank you for providing us with feedback and I am very sorry to see that you were unhappy about the care you received from staff on rainbow ward. I will ensure that your feedback is discussed by the ward team. If you would like me to help you to take your concerns forward with the Matron for children's services then please do email me on Julie.pearce1@nhs.net - I would hope that we can ensure that subsequent visits to rainbow ward are a better experience for you all.

I hope your daughter is progressing well.
