"Please don't ever get ill in Worthing..."

How likely am I to recommend Worthing A&E to friends? Is this the dumbest question ever asked in the history of the world? I'm in A&E with a suspected broken arm and finger not here for the sheer pleasure of it or ordering a Starbucks coffee! Appallingly slow service doesn't even come close... four and a half hour wait with only ten minutes of care in all that time. They didn't even x-ray the arm and I'm still not convinced that diagnosis is/was correct. So if it does later turn out to be broken, compensation claim here we come. Having said that, the bone had probably healed by the time they got round to seeing me. Sad thing is, although the hospital is still quite new, they filled it with the same uncaring and slow staff as before. There's just no urgency to the place... if the rest of us "civvies" were as slow in our jobs as the staff are in Worthing A&E, we'd probably all be fired. If I had to score this out of ten, zero would still be a million times too much...
