My 20 year old son had an inguinal hernia repair a couple of weeks ago. There were advantages from the start with choosing the Treatment Centre as the waiting time to book the operation was a lot less than other hospitals and there were no car parking charges. We were very impressed with the treatment centre, it seemed immaculately clean and the operation was bang on time. All the health care staff were really friendly and helpful and explained everything very well. The consultant, listened and answered our questions really patiently and had a good sense of humour which was a bonus! The aftercare was also brilliant, they even telephoned to check everything was OK the next day. We went for a check up a couple of days later and the Consultant went out of his way to book my son in for a scan quickly as I had an appointment to get to in the afternoon. We would definitely recommend Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre for an operation.
