What I liked

I am a member of staff and had to bring my son in as an emergency a few months ago. He was treated with excellent care and consideration, during his time on the children's wards the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. The ward was clean and i noticed that staff consistently washed their hands before dealing with patients. My son had to have an emergency operation and this was a difficult time for us as parents, the staff supported us and kept us informed throughout. No one realised that i was a member of staff until i told the doctor at my son's follow up appointment. I know that the excellent experience we had would be given to everyone, whether or not they were staff. I am proud to work at this hospital and would not consider any other hospital for my family's care.
