"Rapid action"

Anything else?

I had a routine chest x-ray on April 3 where a shadow was found. On the following Wednesday (the 10th) I was seen by the chest clinic and sent for a CT Scan for the next day. This was followed by a biopsy on April 17, a breathing test and appointment with the oncology clinic, confirming that I had lung cancer, on April 24, referral to St Thomas's for a PET Scan on May 3, referral to Guy's for chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment which started on June 10 and will be ending on August 19. My appointments at QEH were always very professional and I was given full information about my illness and proposed treatment throughout. I have the greatest respect for the staff at QEH, the staff at Guy's and Thomas's and the NHS overall. The respect for the NHS is shared by fellow patients in the radiotherapy and chemotherapy units.

Thank you for taking time to comment at what I'm sure is a difficult time for you. I hope that your treatment progresses well, good luck for the future.
