Professional, caring and with a dose of good humour! Brought in to Treliske with an on-going issue with my gut. Ambulance staff brill, but on arriving at A & E, I was speedily dealt with. From the outset the doctor's professionalism, appropriate levels of good humour and superb bed-side manner made for a positive experience. I'm dreadfully difficult to get needles into, but he succeeded first time and again dealt with the process in a way that put me much at ease. At the risk of sounding patronising, my wife and I felt that he has a super career ahead of him and he will not fail to impress the patients in his care! Thanks to the SRU for yet another positive experience too. The staff on the unit have certainly made my stays as pleasant as possible. I'm a great fan of the NHS and have been cared for in the last few months, at St. Agnes surgery and Treliske, in such a way that makes me realise that this essential service is one that we must ensure remains supported and well funded.
