"High blood pressure & an early labour"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had high blood pressure and had to go to the daycare unit a few times. The midwifes there were really good, especially the sister who always had time to speak to me and made me feel like I mattered, I felt really safe cos she explained everything and I knew what was happening. I was so scared but honestly I can't thank her enough cos she was so calm and reassuring and when I was rushed to the labour ward cos my blood pressure meant I had to have my baby early she told me what was happening.

She had the navy blue uniform and I feel terrible as I can't remember her name but she was great, though all the staff at the maternity wards at Ninewells are good and I can't thank them enough. My baby is now a couple of months old and doing well.
