"I was admitted to the Maternity ..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted to the Maternity Unit for the birth of my first baby in May 2005. I chose RHH as I like the fact that every woman has her own room, which provides a quiet, private space in which mother and baby can bond. If I needed assistance, staff were reasonably quick to respond to the call system. The room also has an en-suite facility, priceless when you've just given birth! I had no concerns regarding security, and feel that the overall care I receievd whilst admitted was good, and would reccommend RHH Maternity unit to anybody

What could be improved

I feel that the use of a TV, and availablity of a CD player would have been beneficial both before and after the birth
