My husband and i were both in hospital together with pneumonia - me on a ward and my husband critically ill in intensive care. The staff went out of their way to keep me fully informed and to make it possible for me to visit him as much as possible. So many staff including doctors, nurses, cleaners, clerical staff and many more were exceptionally kind to me. I thank them all. The medical care we received was also of a very high standard and although my husband eventually died, as a retired doctor, I am comforted to know that everything that could have been done for him was done.
