I was referred to the physiotherapy department in January as I was suffering from severe lower back pain. I am usually an active person who likes to keep fit but I was feeling very depressed as the pain was ruining my work and home life.
From my initial consultation I was given confidence that I would one day be able to live a 'normal life' again. The exercises were explained to me with patience and guidance.
Six months later I have been discharged. I am now pain free or on a bad day I know how to deal with the pain. My muscles are stronger and my home/work life is back to normal.
