I was referred to The Queens by my GP as an emergency when I became very jaundiced and and subsequently had an operation carried out to remove my gall bladder which was carried out competently I also went in as an emergency patient when I experienced severe memory loss. In the ED I had x-rays and a head scan, I saw a consultant three days later who explained the problem. No treatment was necessary. I have now been in The Queens three times and have been more than satisfied with my treatment. My mother in law is in the hospital at the moment and is being well cared for, the Consultant even rang my wife today to explain what was happening. I think the Keogh report is doing a caring hospital a grave injustice. .
