What I liked

I spent five days in ward 6c with a congested chest and high blood pressure problems - all now OK. During my stay the staff were wonderful - the food was superb - the general ward cleanliness was very good.

What could be improved

My only negative comment is that when a patient was returned to the ward from the operating theater one of the attendants leaned over on tip toe and I noted blood on the sole of their shoe. This can't be right as they must have walked from the operating theater all through public areas and lifts into the ward - surely this is a prime method of spreading infection all over the hospital and beyond?
