I will strongly advise against any parent using the neonatal services at basildon hospital. Staff lacked compassion more interested in their chitchat than the patients. My views as a parent were hardly ever considered. Doctors rather talk to nurses than parents. Information about the care were very sketchy and confusing because decisions changed based on who is on shift.
