Trying to discover how to get from Hartlepool to the Hospital by train and bus. No problem getting to Sunderland Railway Station (which is the obvious local rail hub) but finding out how to get from there to the hospital by bus is like pulling teeth. Spoke to four different people at the hospital by phone and eventually. got put through to the porters who were able to tell me which bus to get on. Why does it not simply say, somewhere on the website, 'Catch the number XX bus from the interchange, which passes the eye hospital'? Especially, since having drops in eyes makes it illegal for anybody to drive for hours afterwards.
