Anything else?
I was taken to A & E reception on Saturday 29th June with a suspected broken leg and having been seen by the Triage nurse within ten minutes and judged to be a major. I was then taken immediately into an A & E cubicle and seen by a nurse who took BP, ECG and blood test. The ECG showed a problem and I was seen by a duty medical registrar, who arranged an appointment with cardiology for me. Xrays were taken without delay, and my leg put in plaster. This was all undertaken in an efficient calm, relaxed atmosphere, by staff who were competent, and caring to me and my wife. The difference from the A & E some years ago was nothing short of incredible, and I would like to use this opportunity to thank all of the staff that dealt with me. Keep up the good work!.
