I found the treatment at the hospital to meet my expectations. As unpleasant as hospital stays are (and mine was only for a day procedure), I found the quality of care on par with other hospitalisations elsewhere and overseas. Many people complain about the NHS but in all honesty, I could not fault the care given to me nor the kindness and understanding shown by the consultant and the ward sisters. It's good to know that my NI contributions are being put to good use in this hospital. I have nothing but praise for these people and the circumstances that they often work under.
