Firstly I was very pleased with the waiting time from seeing the consultant to the day of my operation. An MRI scan was quickly organised and the pre-op assessment all ran smoothly. This operation involved a three night stay in the Ambulatory Care Unit. Initially after the operation I had some pain from the catheter but on mentioning this to the nurse it was very quickly and professionally sorted out. My wife was present during this procedure and was very reassured to see that I was in good and caring hands. Every member of the nursing team was most polite and caring with the staff nurses introducing themselves when they came on shift. The nurses worked extremely hard but always with the patient as their first priority. The unit is spotlessly clean and the food was good. I was very grateful for the excellent care that I received and it is a pleasure to give a 5 star rating.
