"Avoid if possible!"

I arrived at this hospital on a Sunday night/ morning at 1am with horrific stomach pain. 111 has advised I visit hospital. I was seen promptly by a triage nurse who have me pain killers and I was then left sobbing in agony for 2 hours. When I finally saw a doctor they said it was food poisoning and they would give me some pain killers then examine me if they didn't work. My mum kicked up a fuss and I was examined an a senior doctor requested a chest x ray. Ended up having more blood tests but wasn't explained to why, finally after 5 hours a surgeon was called which was a shock as they were willing to put it down to good poising and take a pill and go home. Surgeon was helpful but couldn't figure out why I have so much pain. The room I was in had used chewing gum stuck to the bedside table and the waiting room was covered in rubbish. I think if I ever needed to visit A&E again I would spend 20 min longer in the car and go to another one. I know the NHS are stretched and all staff do the best they can but when I was crippled over in pain and people with a cut lip were seen first I think this is wrong. Bottom line I would try to avoid this hospital as much as possible.
