About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

My GP explained how the referral system worked. Within a week TRAQS had contacted me by phone.

An appointment was made on the phone. Correspondence confirming my appointment followed shortly.

The two people I spoke to at TRAQS were friendly, professional and very helpful.

I have seen the consultant and going in to hospital in late July as a day patient.

From seeing the GP to my operation will be 6 weeks. How good is that?

To receive such positive feedback is greatly appreciated and your comments will be passed on to TRAQS staff. The target is to ensure that patients are seen within 18 weeks from the date of their referral to the beginning of their treatment. So to note the timescale of your experience is only 6 weeks is very reassuring.
