"My mum who was diagnosed with terminal cancer"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / High dependency unit

(as a relative),

My mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer out of the blue in January.

Mum saw many doctors and nurses over the next 3 months before she sadly passed away in early April.

I can not praise all the doctors, and nurses on mau lowton and winstanley ward enough, for their care, time, dedication and help, they could not do enough for mum and our family.

Also the hospital palliative care team for all their help in our hour of need.

Thank you so much for posting your very kind comments on the Patient Opinion website. I will ensure that these are shared with the Head of Nursing for Division of Medicine and the Director of Operations for the Division of Medicine to enable them to pass on your kind words to the staff involved.

May I also extend our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Kind regards
