Hi. Having had the opportunity to be treated in day care Rawcliffe/Winstanley Ward on Friday 12th July 2013, I feel compelled to share my experience. From my apprehensive arrival in the ward at 07.30 to grateful departure in the afternoon, my treatment by staff can only be described as excellent. The reception, Doctors, Anaesthetists, Ward sister, Theatre staff and in particular the Staff nurse, treated me with care, consideration and kind compassion in what was a difficult situation for me. My experience at Rawcliffe/Winstanley Ward, Chorley Hospital, re-affirmed my belief that the NHS still has some of the best staff available, whose caring actions far outweigh the odd team members who let them down.
