"Great A&E knowledgable and friendly staff"

About: Barnet Hospital

Anything else?

I attended A & E on a busy Friday night with announcements stating they were busier than usual and regular time updates, no queue at reception. I was seen by triage nurse in 36 minutes and then by specialist (non a and e doctor) after about 50 minute wait . Staff all seemed co ordinated and worked well together. I avoid hospitals unless absolutely necessary as I don't want to drain resources. I was sceptical about London hospitals but Barnet was great. I was discharged within 3 hours, gynaecologist doctors were great and reassuring answering all questions, even the silly ones! Where to improve Name badges that you can remember names would be better, I would have liked to thank staff for everything but I don't remember their names Better seating in the reception waiting area Could do with a machine that changes notes for the drink and car park machine

As an organisation we are committed from learning from specific issues and from any mistakes we may have made. Hearing about where we can do better helps us to pinpoint where exactly to make improvements to the service we provide. The Trust is pleased that you had a positive experience whilst using our emergency services and will ensure your feedback is directed to the A&E manager to disseminate to their staff
